The Center for Leadership and Civic Engagement (CLCE) develops students into leaders that will make a positive difference in the world. These programs help each student discover their passion and talents, while developing their skills and understanding of leadership and active citizenship.

Leadership Studies MinorConsidering a minor?

The Leadership Studies Program is interdisciplinary in nature and is a significant benefit to students in all areas of study. Courses are designed to give students a practical and theoretical grasp of leadership on the basic assumption that leadership can be learned and, therefore, taught. Check out all the summer leadership classes today!

Lunchtime Leadership Series

Do you love FREE lunch? Do you love learning about leadership development? If so, combine both interests and attend our free Lunchtime Leadership Series. From noon to 1pm, every other Wednesday, join us in MSC 1306 to hear from faculty and staff about different leadership topics. These sessions also provide one credit hour toward the Certified Student Leader Program (if applicable).

Golden BullGolden Bull Applications Open!

The Golden Bull Award is one of USF's highest honors given annually to undergraduate and graduate students who encompass the spirit of USF and have demonstrated its values. Recipients must exemplify exceptional leadership and service to the University and the community. Each year up to 20 deserving students will receive the award. Applications are due by March 31 at 5:00 pm

Join us for SPEAK LIFE, a FREE event for suicide awareness, on April 10th on Castor Lawn at 5pm. Celebration of Leadership AwardsNominate Today!

The annual Celebration of Leadership Awards ceremony commemorates the accomplishments of our student leaders and student organizations on campus each year. You are encouraged to apply or nominate a deserving student or organization for any number of the prestigious awards. Applications and nominations will be accepted starting Monday, March 3th until Friday, March 21st.

CSLCSL Orientation

Interested in learning more about a way to demonstrate your leadership abilities and knowledge on paper? The Certified Student Leader program is a co-curricular certification available to students at the University of South Florida interested in enhancing their leadership knowledge, application, and skills through a variety of leadership opportunities.
